We probably would have arrived earlier at the annual Halloween party hosted by The Martial Artist and his wife, The Book Lover, if not for the Great Tart Experiment. After this weekend, I finally have an answer for the people who have been asking me, "Are you ready for the baby?" I can say, "Nearly." Thanks to the help of our friends My College Roommate, The Martial Artist, and Kapow, we moved the big items in order to convert the office/guest room into the office/nursery.

After the one-day Prepared Childbirth seminar on Saturday, The Gryphon and I went straight to our friend, The Cheshire Cat's place, for a session of the role-playing game he developed and runs, Confed. We were playing that weekend primarily because a long-distance friend, The Court Wizard, was in town.
